Klopp: We were not good enough.

Liverpool‘s manager Klopp is disappointed from last night’s game against Napoli. He admitted his side were deserved losers. Here is what he said:
“Tonight we were not good enough. Normally if you are not good enough you lose football games. That was us tonight.”

“I’m not 100% sure why (we were poor) but it is clear that we were. The timing for our defensive movements were not good enough, we didn’t close the space in the right moment, we didn’t react in the right situation. And so they could play through.

“We didn’t create a lot of chances. Second half was not good enough. It’s always a bad sign when you have to say your goalkeeper was your best player, but it was obvious tonight.” Klopp added.

Nagelsmann knows how to stop Manchester City

Hoffenheim‘s coach, Julian Nagelsmann said he had some ideas on how to stop Pep Guardiola‘s Manchester City before the clash between the two teams in the second round of the group stage of the Champions League. 31-year-old Nagelsmann, who is the youngest senior coach in the history of the tournament, is well aware of Guardiola’s work since he led Bayern Munich.

“Man City expect to win the game and I’m expecting them to focus on their strengths, but we’ve come up with a very brave plan.” said Julian.

“There will not be a battle of tactics. Our main strength is our style of play and everyone who takes the field for us will be brave in possession. We will look forward with anticipation and courage.” he added.
