Manchester United is temporarily in fifth place in the Premier League after having 1-0 over Leicester City as a guest. The only goal in King Power Stadium fell in the ninth minute, and Marcus Rashford was his author. Poor saving allowed Paul Pogba to take the ball in the middle of the field, and the Frenchman immediately handed it to Rashford, who was in the sight of Kasper Schmeichel, who could not be wrong.
With this victory Manchester United gathered 48 points, two behind Chelsea and one in front of the sixth Arsenal, who later is currently losing from Manchester City. Leicester is 11th with 32 points.
“We had to improve and did that today. Very difficult today and to get the win is very good. Time and time again [Pogba] provides opportunities for the team. Getting the goal sets it in stone and we have to keep improving. We’re just concentrating on ourselves, trying to keep winning matches and we’ll see how it pans out.” Rashford said.
