Cesc Fabregas’s transfer to Monaco is postponed, at least for the moment. Chelsea’s midfielder visited the Principality, passed medical examinations, and negotiated a 3-year contract. Chelsea, however, froze the deal because wants to attract a player to Fabregas’ post before letting him sign with “Monegasque”. According to media, Chelsea will chose between Leandro Paredes of Zenit and Niccollo Barrela of Cagliari.
Even if he can’t move to Monaco until the winter transfer window closes, Fabregas will certainly be starting with the League 1 club after the end of the season. He has already returned to London and awaits a positive development of the events.
